Preventative Behavioral Supports & Early Intervention: ADSIS (Minn Stat §125A.50) The Special Education Division provides leadership and coordination for Minnesota Statute 125A.50, Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instruction Services (ADSIS) to ensure that academic and behavioral prevention services are of high quality, well managed and aligned to legislative intent. The division also provides leadership, consultation and direction regarding behavioral supports capacity-building for teachers, and culturally responsive approaches to behavior and intervention, including work with the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), prevention and alternatives to restrictive procedures in behavioral crisis management, functional behavior assessment, and behavioral intervention planning.
