Minnesota operates an all-voluntary SNAP E&T program, exempting all work registrants, including time-limited SNAP recipients, from mandatory participation in SNAP E&T. Any person receiving SNAP can choose to participate. Time-limited SNAP recipients can choose to meet their work requirement through SNAP E&T or any other qualifying work or training activity.
