AFGHAN SPECIAL IMMIGRANT VISA HOLDERS
ISSUE DATE: 08/2024
People who worked with or for the United States Military in the war in Afghanistan and received protection in the United States for their service. People have been arriving in the United States with this status since 2006.
Afghan Special Immigrant Visa Holders are eligible for public benefits to the same extent as refugees.
