CADI Waiver waiting list guide

Lead agencies create a waiver waiting list when people who are eligible for waiver services do not have immediate access to the services because of funding limits.

Management of waiting list

As of July 1, 2015, the Minnesota legislature authorized sufficient funding to serve all eligible individuals on the CADI Waiver-waiting list. Lead agencies:

  • • Should not place anyone on a CADI waiting list due to insufficient funding.
  • • Must eliminate their CADI waiting list by Oct. 1, 2016.
  • Lead agencies may request additional CADI allocations by contacting

    To remove someone from a CADI waiting list, enter the following codes as applicable:

    Field 75 a and b: Assessment Results and Exit Reasons

  • • 28: Person opened to the CADI or BI program from a list; or
  • • 47: No longer need waiver access.
