Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment Manual

Existing MHCP Providers – First Time Access

Revised: September 13, 2023

If you are already an existing enrolled Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) provider, you can use the Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) portal to manage your enrollment records. The first time you log in to the MPSE portal, the system will require you to enter or update some of your information in MPSE.

You will update enrollment information in the MPSE portal by submitting a request. Updating your enrollment records in the MPSE portal for the first time will require you to complete two types of requests:

  • 1. A global request to update information such as Social Security Number (SSN), Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), legal name, and owners and authorized persons.
  • 2. An enrollment record request to update information specific to a practice location or enrollment record type. This includes information such as services provided, addresses, and credentials.
  • Note: If you have more than one enrollment record within your portfolio, you will need to complete an enrollment record request for each of your records to update the information.

You can find webinar trainings, video modules for specific MPSE processes, and an FAQ for the MPSE portal on the MPSE Portal Training website.
