Retrieve Portfolio

Posted: July 17, 2018

Overview

This page is for new provider enrollers (NPEs) to retrieve and manage a portfolio that was created by MHCP Provider Screening Enrollment as a result of a paper application. Provider Screening and Enrollment creates a portfolio and mails the provider a confirmation letter containing a portfolio return key number. The portfolio return key grants a provider access to the provider’s newly created portfolio in the MPSE application. This page only applies to NPEs that are not already assigned to a portfolio.

Portfolio Return Entry

Under Portfolio Return Entry, type your information to retrieve your portfolio. The portfolio return key, and federal employer identification number (FEIN) or Social Security number (SSN), entered must exactly match the existing information in MPSE or you will receive the message, “Did not find a paper request with matching information.” You have five attempts to type the correct information before the system locks your account. If your account is locked, you must contact your system administrator to unlock your account. If you are the system administrator, contact the MHCP call center to have your account unlocked. Click Contact Us from the Right Side Navigation for MHCP call center contact information.

Portfolio Return Key

Type the 32-digit portfolio return key in the Portfolio Return Key box. Provider Enrollment provides this portfolio return key number to you in a letter.

FEIN

Type the same FEIN that you provided on your paper application in the FEIN box. Type your FEIN in the format XX-XXXXXX.

SSN

Type the same SSN that you provided on your paper application in the SSN box. Type your SSN in the format XXX-XX-XXXX.
