Manage Owners/Authorized Persons

Overview
Use this page to manage owners or authorized people for this portfolio. You can only edit the information on this page if you are in an MPSE Request. For the purposes of this page, “disclosing entity” refers to the organization named on the Organization Information page of this portfolio. You must add all people or businesses where one or more of the following apply:
If there are no individuals or businesses with an ownership or control interest of five percent or more, there is an option to confirm this scenario.

Portfolio/Profile Information
This is a recurring section that appears on multiple MPSE pages for informational purposes only. See Portfolio/Profile Information on the Recurring Items page of the Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) User Manual.
Required But Missing Role Type(s)
The Required But Missing Role Type(s) section shows all of the role types that are required for any enrollment record in this portfolio and have not yet been added to an owner or authorized person or business. This section only appears if there are required but missing role types.
If Required But Missing Role Type(s) appears, you must resolve these errors by adding them to an existing person or by adding an individual or individuals with those assigned roles.
Owners/Authorized Persons - Modify Requests
The Owners/Authorized Persons - Modify Requests section contains any records for people or businesses that were modified or added during the current MPSE request. If you have not made any changes to an owner/authorized person or business during this MPSE request, this section will not have any information to display.
View/Edit
Click View/Edit for rows with a person’s name to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Person Name page. Click View/Edit for rows with a business’s legal name to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Business page. From these pages, you can review and edit the information about the owner/authorized person or business.
Delete
Click Delete to remove the person or business from this page. The Delete option only appears when the person or business was added during this MPSE request.
Individuals and businesses who have already been approved by MHCP cannot be deleted from this section. To indicate to MHCP that a person is no longer associated with the portfolio, you must add an End Date to all the user roles that the person or business was assigned on the Owner/Authorized Person Roles page.

Associated enrollment record information refers to enrollment records that this provider or provider organization has selected for one or more of their role types. Click the link labeled Click here for associated enrollment record information to view the associated enrollment record information.
The Enrollment Record Information section of this screen contains the enrollment record ID and name of all enrollment records (locations) that this owner or authorized person or business has associated with a role on their Owner/Authorized Person Roles page.
Global Owners/Authorized Persons
The Global Owners/Authorized Persons section shows all the owners or authorized people that you have added to this portfolio that have one or more role type(s) of Owner Managing Interest or Board Member or Officer without an end date. If you have not added an owner/authorized person or business to the portfolio with one of those role types, this section will not have any information to display.
Individuals and businesses who have already been approved by MHCP cannot be removed from this section. To indicate to MHCP that a person is no longer associated with the portfolio, you must add an End Date to all the user roles that the person or business was assigned on the Owner/Authorized Person Roles page.

Enrollment Record Owners/Authorized Persons
The Enrollment Record Owners/Authorized Persons section shows all the owners or authorized people that you have added to this portfolio that have one or more role type(s) of Authorized Agent, Credentialing Contact, Designated Biller, Managing Employee, Non-Owner/Non-Manager, Other, Qualified Professional or Subcontractor without an end date. If you have not added an owner/authorized person or business to the portfolio with one of those role types, this section will not have any information to display.
Individuals and businesses who have already been approved by MHCP cannot be removed from this section. To indicate to MHCP that a person is no longer associated with the portfolio, you must add an End Date to all the user roles that the person or business was assigned on the Owner/Authorized Person Roles page.

Associated enrollment record information refers to enrollment records that this person or business has selected for one or more of their role types. Click the link labeled Click here for associated enrollment record information to display the Associated Enrollment Record Information screen.

Inactive Owners/Authorized Persons
The Inactive Owners/Authorized Persons section shows all the owners or authorized people that you have added to this portfolio where all role types have been assigned an end date on the Owner/Authorized Person Roles page. If all owners or authorized people or businesses in the portfolio have active role types without an assigned end date, this section will not have any information to display.
View/Edit
Click View/Edit for rows with a person’s name to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Person Name page. Click View/Edit for rows with a business’s legal name to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Business page. From these pages, you can review and edit the information about the owner/authorized person or business.

Add a Person
Click Add a Person to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Person Name page.
Add a Business
Click Add a Business to go to the Manage Owner/Authorized Business page.
Confirm No Owner Role
Click Confirm No Owner Role to go to the Confirm No Owner Role page. If you do not add a person or business with the role type of Owner Managing Interest to the Global Owners/Authorized Persons section, you must select this option to attest that this organization does not have an owner.
If a person or business is added to the Global Owners/Authorized Persons section, this button will appear but will be disabled.
