Submit for Approval

Overview

On the Submit for Approval page, you can address any errors flagged in your request and submit your request to Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP). This page only appears when you are in an MPSE Request.

Portfolio/Profile Information

This is a recurring section that appears on multiple Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (MPSE) pages for informational purposes only. Refer to Portfolio/Profile Information on the Recurring Items page of the MPSE User Manual.

Request Errors

In the Request Errors section you will find all of the errors associated with your request. As you correct each error, they will no longer appear in the Request Errors section.

If you do not have any errors within your request or once you have addressed all of your request errors, the message, “There are no business rule errors for this request” will appear.

Go To
Click the Go To link in the Error Actions column to go to the page where the error was made and correct the error. After making the necessary corrections, click Submit Request in the right-side navigation to return to the Submit Request page.

Attestation

You must complete the first attestation for all requests.

  • 1. Click the checkbox to complete the first attestation:
  • · On behalf of this organization, I certify that the information provided is true and complete. I will notify MHCP Provider Eligibility and Compliance of any changes to this information. I understand that anything that is not true or is misleading in the information this organization submits to MHCP, including false claims, statements, documents or concealing a fact, may be cause for denial or termination as a Medicaid provider.
  • 2. You must select one attestation from the following for enrollment record requests:
  • a. Click the checkbox for this option if all owners and authorized persons are currently up to date.
  • · I attest on behalf of the organization that I have completed or reviewed the information required in the Owners/Authorized Persons section in MPSE and verified the information is accurate and no changes will need to be made.
  • Or

  • b. Click the checkbox for this option if the owners and authorized persons section needs to be updated. If you select this option, you must also submit a Global Request or MHCP will send your request back for more information.
  • · I attest on behalf of the organization that I have reviewed the information required in the Owners/Authorized Persons section in MPSE and verify that I need to make corrections or updates. I will submit a separate global request to make corrections or add ownership and authorized person information. (In order to create a global request you must have a Global Provider Enroller role. If you do not have this role or know who has this role within your organization, see your administrator.)
  • Submit for Approval

    Click Submit for Approval to submit your request to MHCP for approval and go to the Submission Approval page. Submit for Approval will be enabled once you have corrected all the errors within a request and completed all required attestations.

    Continue

    Click Continue to go to return to your home page. Continue will appear only when errors exist within the request, or if you are viewing a request created by someone else.

    Cancel

    Click Cancel to go back to the previous page.

    Submission Approval

    This page shows the confirmation that your request was successfully submitted to MHCP. Review the Request Submitted and Next Steps link for information on the various request statuses and outcomes that can be applied to an MPSE request.

    You can also use this page to download your Profile Report and Summary Report.

    Submission Approval

    In the Submission Approval section, the following messages appear:

    Request was submitted successfully. Your Request ID will be displayed here and can be used to identify your request to MHCP.

    Download All Documents

    Click Download All Documents to download your Profile Report and all of your attachments.

    After you click Download All Documents, the system creates a zip file that contains your profile report and all of your attachments and prompts you to save the file to your computer.

    Continue

    Click Continue to go to return to the Manage Portfolio page.
