DD screening document for developmental disabilities

Overview

County/tribal nation staff enter developmental disabilities (DD) screening documents directly into the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). Staff should use the information summarized on the DD Screening Document, DHS-3067 (PDF) to complete the required fields in MMIS. Complete all applicable MMIS fields when entering a person’s DD screening.

Many DD processes require a specific order of operations. For more information, refer to DD Screening Document Codebook – Scenarios.

Updating MMIS fields

MMIS displays the person’s status and DD screening document history. County/tribal nation staff review information in the fields and history. Fields that can be updated contain green text or valid values.

To update MMIS fields, staff must:

1. Tab to field start

2. Press the end key to delete the field entry

3. Enter updated data in field

4. Tab past fields that contain correct information.

Begin at the ASCR panel in MMIS.

To enter a DD screening document into MMIS, go to the ASCR screening document key panel to view DD screening documents stored in MMIS, or select one of the following scenarios:
