ISSUE DATE: 05/2025

Licensed child care providers are licensed by either:

  • · the State of Minnesota or

    They include:

  • · Licensed family child care providers.
  • · Licensed group family child care providers.
  • · Licensed centers.
  • · Centers or facilities under the jurisdiction of the federal government.
  • A licensed provider must register with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) to be paid by CCAP. See Chapter 11.12 (Provider Registration).
