A voluntary repayment agreement is a written agreement between the county or tribe and the family, provider, or both. All parties agree to the payment plan as a method of repaying an overpayment.

Use repayment agreements:

  • · When the provider no longer cares for children receiving child care assistance.
  • · When participants or providers wish to make payments in excess of the required recoupment amount.
  • Families or providers may voluntarily repay the overpayment before the county or tribe begins other methods of recovery.
