  • Implementation updates

    DHS provides regular CFSS implementation updates in DSD stakeholder eList announcements.

    The Regional Resource Specialists (RRSs) send monthly CFSS implementation updates to lead agency supervisors.

    MMIS updates

    MMIS training for counties/tribal nations

    DHS created a new self-paced training video to explain updates to MMIS that will allow counties/tribal nations to enter CFSS service agreements in MMIS. For more information and instructions, refer to Self-paced online course: CFSS MMIS Updates Training.

    MMIS transition information

    People can use Choosing a CFSS model: A tool for a person using CFSS and their consultation services provider to learn about CFSS and their choices.

    People using the budget model can use CFSS: Being an employer to learn about their responsibilities as an employer.

    Provider agency training

    For information about training for provider agencies, refer to CFSS Manual – PCA/CFSS provider agency training requirements.

    DHS holds regular office hours with PCA/CFSS provider agencies to review CFSS policy. To register for office hours, refer to Webex registration – CFSS provider agency office hours.

    DHS also holds weekly CFSS provider question-and-answer sessions from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursdays. The sessions focus on CFSS enrollment and the transition to CFSS. To join the weekly Q&A sessions, refer to Microsoft Teams meeting – Enrollment Q&A sessions.

    Worker training

    For information about training for PCA/CFSS workers, refer to CFSS Manual – PCA/CFSS worker criteria, requirements and responsibilities. For additional, CFSS-specific information, refer to CFSS Manual – CFSS worker training and supervision.

    Financial management services (FMS) provider training

    FMS providers can complete the CFSS FMS Training available in TrainLink and attend DHS’ CFSS FMS webinars. Use the following instructions to take the training:

  • · Sign on in the upper-right corner.
  • · Enter your unique key.
