The intermediate care facility for persons with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD) per diem generally includes medical equipment and supplies. The durable medical equipment supplier may bill DHS directly for items it supplies to ICF/DDs only if the ICF/DD per diem or cost of doing business excludes the item(s).

The ICF/DD variable rate process cannot fund medical equipment and supplies the ICF/DD per diem does not include.
