Responsibilities | Licensed ICFs/DD are responsible under the ICF/DD contract with DHS, contracts and understandings with counties and legal authority for the following: 1. Admit people: 2. Assure case managers are aware of people’s conditions so: 3. Comply with statutory requirements regarding termination of services. 4. Coordinate with day training and habilitation (DT&H) providers to assure the provision of active treatment using consistent and quality training and adaptive equipment. 5. Coordinate with services during the day or retirement option providers to meet all active treatment requirements. 6. Distribute legislative provider rate changes according to statutory requirements. 7. If eligible for special needs funding: 8. Provide required reports using DHS guidelines and forms. 9. Request county consideration of closure, downsizing or relocation proposals to meet requests/identified needs of people living at the ICFs/DD. | ||
