CMDE and ITP signature changes

DHS updated the Addendum A section of EIDBI – How to complete Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) and Progress monitoring, DHS-7109. This change allows for the ITP and comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation (CMDE) to be signed on the same day.

Observation and direction

DHS updated EIDBI – Intervention observation and direction to allow Level I and Level II providers to provide observation and direction to the same or lower level provider.

Billing grid

DHS updated EIDBI billing grid (PDF) to reflect the new codes and limits.

Technical change request

DHS updated EIDBI Technical Change Request, DHS-6516 (PDF) to clarify the directions to request a technical change in EIDBI services to an existing approved service agreement.

Launch of EIDBI 101 online training

DHS recently launched the new EIDBI 101 online training. This training informs providers of the various requirements to provide EIDBI services. DHS requires all Level III providers to complete EIDBI 101 and recommends all other EIDBI providers do so as well.

For additional information and instructions to take the training, see EIDBI – Individual EIDBI provider trainings.
