Clarification on new DSD Contact Form
On Jan. 18, 2022, DHS’s Disability Services Division (DSD) launched the new DSD Contact Form to handle general inquiries. We want to share important details about the new form.
Details
How to connect with policy teams:
· Submit inquiries: The contact form is the preferred method. However, inquiries may still be sent directly to policy teams using their shared email address.· Responses to contact form submissions: The same policy team members will continue to respond to inquiries from both the contact form and the team’s general email address. Team members and their responsibilities have not changed.· Lead agency policy questions: When submitting a policy question using the contact form, do not enter the same question in PolicyQuest or send an email to a specific policy team. Make only one submission for each issue.· Other modes of communication: Continue to use the same procedures for other DSD communication channels, including DSD phone numbers, PolicyQuest and eDoc forms. These channels have not changed.· Other DHS divisions: Continue to communicate with other DHS divisions, such as the Aging and Adult Services Division (AASD), by the same means used in the past.· Security: The form is protected and secure. This allows private information to be included, when necessary.Questions
