Central MN Autism Resource Fair set for June

DHS invites you to attend the in-person Central MN Autism Community Resource Fair. Attendees can learn about resources to support children and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other related conditions. It is open to the public and is for people of all ages and at any stage of their autism journey.

Event details

  • · Date: Saturday, June 24, 2023
  • · Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • · Registration: Not required, but indicating interest on the Facebook event allows staff to plan for the event.
  • · Location: Elk River High School, 900 School St. NW, Elk River, MN 55330 — The resource fair will be held in the commons. Enter through Door A, shown on this map.
  • · Parking: Free parking in the Elk River High School parking lot off School Street.
  • · Vendors: If you are interested in being a vendor at this event, complete the vendor application form and send to ASD.DHS@state.mn.us by Thursday, June 1, 2023.
  • Accessibility

    American Sign Language (ASL), Hmong, Somali, Russian and Spanish interpreters will be available during the entire event. A sensory space, staffed by Spark2Hope staff members and sensory-support volunteers, will also be available for attendees in Community Room 105, just off the commons area.
