Register for MN Autism Resource Symposium

The state of Minnesota is hosting the first MN Autism Resource Symposium on April 12, 2022, in honor of National Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month.

The MN Autism Resource Symposium is an opportunity for the Minnesota autism community to:

· Come together

· Explore support options

· Learn from one another

· Be inspired!

The purpose of the symposium is to promote coordinated supports, health, education and resiliency for the Minnesota autism community.

The symposium will feature a keynote panel discussion in which adults on the autism spectrum and family members will share stories about their lived experiences and answer questions. The state of Minnesota is committed to supporting the autism community across the lifespan.

· Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2022

· Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

· Cost: Free

· Registration: Registration is full as of March 25, 2022. Interested parties can watch the live stream of the event on the MN Positive Behavior Support Network YouTube channel. We will provide ASL and CART services. A recording of the event and a full transcript will be available afterward on the MN Autism Resource Portal and MN Autism Resource Portal Facebook page.

The MN Autism Resource Symposium is a joint state agency effort hosted by:

· Department of Education (MDE)

· Department of Health (MDH)

· Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED)

· Department of Human Services (DHS).

The Institute on Community Integration (ICI) at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities is also a key partner.
