In the upcoming months, many waiver service providers will need to apply for a 245D Home and Community-Based Service license, effective Jan. 1, 2014. This will include the providers of 12 waiver services that do not currently require a license. The application process will look a little different for providers who currently have a 245B license. 245D HCBS and Foster Care: County and Provider Changes Information Session
Monday July 22, 2013, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Sponsored by DHS Licensing, in partnership with the DHS Minnesota Health Care Program Provider Relations Unit.

An information session for county licensing staff and foster care providers about the new 245D HCBS license requirements and its impact on foster care licenses, foster care services and county licensing functions related to the new 245D-Community Residential Setting license. The 245D-CRS license will replace the adult foster care license in corporate adult foster care homes where all residents receive crisis respite, supported living services or foster care services (excluding foster care services under the Elderly Waiver.)
