Minnesota’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) team is hosting the Spring 2023 Virtual Minnesota Customized Employment Training series. The online 40-hour training program for employment support professionals covers each step of the customized employment discovery process. This includes conducting job development, completing a job analysis and coordinating employment supports.

Details

Important information about the training series:

  • · Dates: Alternating Tuesdays from April 18 to June 27; each Tuesday from Aug. 1 to 15, 2023.
  • · Time: 1 to 4:30 p.m.
  • · Sessions: There are nine online sessions.
  • · Certificaton: Participants who attend all sessions are eligible to apply for an Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certificate.
  • · Register: Contact Margie Webb to register. The limit is 60 participants. Priority will be given to employees of agencies ending subminimum wages and that provide services in areas with limited customized employment options.

  • ACRE certificate

    Participants who receive a certificate will be included on the national ACRE registry. Certificate holders also can apply to be listed on the VRS website as a customized employment services provider.
