UKRAINIAN HUMANITARIAN PAROLEES

ISSUE DATE: 05/2024

People who meet the following criteria:

Citizens of Ukraine,

Who entered the United States with Humanitarian Parole, and

Were granted Humanitarian Parole between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2023.

Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees are eligible for public benefits to the same extent as refugees. 

Certain immediate relatives of people who entered within that window are also eligible to the same extent as Refugees.

People born in Crimea are citizens of Ukraine.
