4.6.6 Authorized Activities Outside An Employment Plan

Authorized activities outside of an Employment Plan

The following activities outside of an Employment Plan are authorized activities for all CCAP subprograms.

  • · Job search at application or redetermination up to 240 hours per calendar year per participant, see Chapter 4.6.6.3 (Job search at application or redetermination).
  • · Employment, See 4.6.6.6 (Employment outside of an Employment Plan).
  • · Education with approved plan by a County or Tribe for TY, TYE and BSF subprograms, see Chapter 4.6.6.9 (Education outside of an Employment Plan).
  • - Education is NOT an authorized activity outside of an Employment Plan for MFIP/DWP subprogram, see Chapter 4.6.3 (Authorized activities within an Employment Plan).
  • · Combinations of authorized activities, see 4.6.6.12 (Combination of activities examples).
  • Additional authorized activities outside of an Employment Plan for MFIP/DWP child care

    In addition to the above, the following activities outside of an Employment Plan are authorized activities for MFIP/DWP child care subprogram ONLY:

  • · Financial and employment services orientations and assessments for families participating in MFIP/DWP.
  • · Appeals and hearings for cash assistance for families participating in MFIP/DWP.
  • Changes to authorized activities outside Employment Plan during the 12 month eligibility period

    Whether a change in activity participation will impact a family’s case depends on their reporting type. See Chapter 8.3.6 (Reporting types) for more information about determining a family’s reporting type.
