5 CCAP Family Composition

This chapter covers policy on who is included in the CCAP family when determining eligibility for CCAP.

The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) defines a family as parents, step-parents, guardians and their spouses, or other eligible relative caregivers and their spouses, and their blood related dependent children and adoptive siblings under the age of 18 years living in the same home. The term “spouse” includes married same-sex spouses. See Chapter 2 (Glossary) for full definition of FAMILY.
