Virtual social services fair opportunities in April

Join the Minnesota Department of Human Services for a series of career fairs with employers from across Minnesota who provide services and supports. All events are virtual and free.

Employers will be offering information on:

· Job opportunities

· Practicum and internship opportunities

· Career paths in the industry

· And more!

Dates, times and registration

There will be multiple events that you can join:

· 6-7 p.m., April 5: 2022 Virtual Mock Interviews and Resume Review

· Noon-1 p.m., April 6: 2022 Virtual Early Intervention Autism Provider Career Fair

· 4-5:30 p.m., April 6: 2022 Virtual Early Intervention Autism Provider Career Fair

· 4-5:30 p.m., April 7: 2022 Virtual Behavioral Health and Home and Community Based Provider Career Fair.

Audience

Everyone is welcome to attend. Undergraduate and graduate students in the following fields of study are highly encouraged to attend:

· Psychology

· Applied behavior analysis

· Child development

· Social work

· Education/ special education

· Speech and language pathology

· Occupational therapy

· Nursing

· Health care

· Other human service programs.

Videos for job seekers

We also created two new YouTube videos for people who are interested in this field:

· Human Services Careers in Minnesota – Intro and How to Apply: Explores the vast employment opportunities available in the human services career field.

· Behavioral Health Careers in Minnesota – Intro and How to Apply: Shares information about the in-demand field of behavioral health careers in Minnesota. The video highlights several behavior therapists. They share what they love most about working in this rewarding field.
