Status of the MnCHOICES revision project

DHS continues work on developing a detailed launch timeline for the MnCHOICES revision that will launch after the third quarter of 2022.

We will provide an update on our progress by July 20, 2022.

MnCHOICES management

Beginning June 9, the MnCHOICES System Governance Group (SGG) and MnCHOICES Input Group will work together to manage the MnCHOICES system:

1. MnCHOICES SGG

  • · The formal decision-making group to oversee approved MnCHOICES projects and make final decisions about MnCHOICES work priorities, based on the input group’s recommendations
  • · Consists of seven or eight leaders from DHS, MNIT and lead agencies
  • 2. MnCHOICES Input Group

  • · The group that will receive and track MnCHOICES system change requests and send recommendations to the SGG about which items to prioritize
  • · Consists of 20-25 subject matter experts and lead agency representatives who are close to the work and can represent the needs of specific interested parties.
  • DHS will host a joint kick-off meeting on June 9, 2022, for both groups. After the joint event, each group will meet independently. DHS has already sent meeting details to attendees.
