Purpose: To announce a public comment period for amendments to the Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver plan before submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
Comment period begins: 8 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023
Comment period ends: 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023

DHS requests public comments on amendments to the DD Waiver plan

DHS requests public comments on January 2023 DD Waiver plan amendments (PDF) before we submit them to CMS for approval.

Notes:

· DHS posted these amendments for the Brain Injury (BI) and Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) waivers for public comment on Nov. 14, 2022. DHS submitted the BI and CADI waiver amendments to CMS on Dec. 29, 2022.

· DHS posted the Community Alternative Care (CAC) Waiver application for public comment on Nov. 14, 2022, as part of the five-year process to continue the CAC Waiver program. The CAC Waiver application includes the waiver amendment changes. DHS submitted the CAC Waiver application to CMS on Dec. 29, 2022.

Email comments to DSD.PublicComments@state.mn.us no later than 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023.
