Disability waiver case manager employment training now available
DHS now offers a new course that meets disability waiver case manager training requirements for employment planning. For more information about the course, refer to DHS – Self-paced online course: Getting to work: A case manager’s guide to supporting employment.
Registration
Case managers must register for one of the following sessions:
Once a case manager registers for a session, they must complete the course within the six-week “course available” window.
To register, use the instructions on DHS – Self-paced online course: Getting to work: A case manager’s guide to supporting employment.
Completion deadline
All disability waiver case managers must complete this training by Aug. 1, 2024. Case managers hired after Aug. 1, 2024, must complete the training during their first six months of employment.
