Disability waiver case manager employment training update
DHS is monitoring total statewide enrollment and completion progress for the new disability waiver case manager employment training. In the first nine weeks:

Registration
Disability waiver case managers who have not completed the training must register for one of the following sessions:
Once a case manager registers for a session, they must complete the course within the six-week “course available” window.
To register, use the instructions on DHS – Self-paced online course: Getting to Work: A Case Manager’s Guide to Supporting Employment.
Completion deadline
All disability waiver case managers must complete this training by Aug. 1, 2024. Case managers hired after Aug. 1, 2024, must complete the training during their first six months of employment.
Training completion credit
After disability waiver case managers complete the training, they must return to TrainLink and enter their completion code. They will not get credit for training completion if they do not enter their completion code in TrainLink.
