Updates to the AC and ECS eligibility worksheets

DHS updated the AC and ECS eligibility worksheets because of annual updates to the federal income and eligibility standards. The updates are effective July 1, 2024.

AC eligibility worksheets changes

We updated AC Program Eligibility Worksheet, DHS-2630 (PDF) and AC Program Eligibility Worksheet Type A, DHS-2630A (PDF) and made changes to the following areas:

  • · Transfer of assets penalty period calculation.
  • · Projected nursing facility care cost for 135 days, plus the Medical Assistance (MA) asset limit amount.
  • · Statewide Average Payment for Skilled Nursing Facility (SAPSNF) care rate.
  • · Federal poverty guideline (FPG) amounts for proper eligibility determination.
  • · Fee schedule adjusted income amounts based on updated FPG amounts.
  • · Income standard for Qualifying Individual Group 1 (QI-1), Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) and Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB) lead agency referral amount.
  • · Monthly spousal income allocation amount on DHS-2630A.
  • · Assessed fee percent.
  • ECS eligibility worksheets changes

    We updated ECS Program Eligibility Worksheet, DHS-6683 (PDF) and ECS Program Eligibility Worksheet Type A, DHS-6683A (PDF) and made changes to the following fields:

  • · Projected nursing facility care cost for 135 days, plus the MA asset limit amount.
  • · FPG amounts for proper eligibility determination.
  • · Income standard for QI-1, QMB and SLMB lead agency referral amount.
  • · Monthly spousal income allocation amount on DHS-6683A.
