Updates shared

· Additional information can be found in the meeting agenda.

· New webpage for the Intervention and Respite Service Study and Redesign project. The contracted vendor is currently working with the DHS IRB to edit the study materials. Once the vendor receives IRB approval, they will translate the materials into additional languages and purchase paid advertising to announce the study in diverse media. DHS will also help to distribute the materials and will post all the ways to give feedback on the DHS webpage. Committee members were asked during this meeting to make sure they give feedback for the study, though members can choose which method they would like to participate in (survey, interview, focus group, or listening session).

Requests for approval subcommittee

This subcommittee continues to look at communication needs, as well as ups and downs people experience in their lives and how to effectively collaborate with care providers. Clinical continuity seems to be a big support for the teams.

Emergency use of manual restraint subcommittee

Subcommittee representatives will be doing an in-person visit with a person receiving support in a couple of weeks.
