Purpose: To instruct lead agencies to print and post a non-electronic notice of a 30-day public comment period for fall 2025 amendments to the Elderly Waiver (EW) plan

Non-electronic notice of public comment on EW plan amendments
Lead agencies must print and post a copy of DHS – Public comments on EW plan amendments (PDF) in a public location, if available, on or before Nov. 18, 2025, through Dec. 18, 2025. This notice explains how to comment on DHS’ fall 2025 EW plan amendments.
Background information
DHS held a previous public comment period for the EW plan amendments from Aug. 13, 2025, to Sept. 12, 2025. We announced this public comment period in an Aug. 12, 2025, eList announcement. People who submitted comments during the previous comment period do not need to submit them again.
We will accept additional public comment submissions from Nov. 18, 2025, through Dec. 18, 2025.
