Purpose: To announce approval of the Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver application
Effective: Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2030

CADI Waiver renewal approved by CMS
The federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved DHS’ application for renewal of the CADI Waiver program. The CADI Waiver plan is effective Oct. 1, 2025, to Sept. 30, 2030.
Implementation of changes
DHS has not implemented the changes in the CADI Waiver renewal yet. To implement these approved changes for CADI, we must update our policy manuals and MMIS. We will send eList announcements and/or update CBSM – What’s new when we implement the changes.
