Technology for transition: Assistive technology across the lifespan

Join DHS and Minnesota’s System of Technology to Achieve Results (STAR) program for a three-part webinar series on how technology can help with all of life’s transitions.

Life changes bring new challenges and opportunities. This three-part series explores how assistive technology can support independence, safety, communication, employment, parenting, aging in place and community living through every stage of life. Attendees will learn about practical technology solutions, person-centered planning and support that adapts to changing needs.

Session 1: Building Independence: Transitioning into Adult Life

The transition from school services into adulthood can be exciting, overwhelming and uncertain. Learn how assistive technology can support young adults with disabilities in employment, college, independent living and community participation.
