Purpose: To announce a public comment period for amendments to the Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternative Care (CAC), Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) waiver plans before submission to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
Comment period begins: 8 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026
Comment period ends : 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 4, 2026

DHS requests public comments on amendments to the disability waiver plans
DHS requests public comments on fall 2026 waiver plan amendments before we submit them to CMS for approval. These amendments apply to the following home and community-based services (HCBS) waivers:
DHS will publish the text of all public comments received during the open public comment period on the DHS website, as required under Minn. Stat. §256B.04, subd. 24.
