EIDBI service authorization update
DHS is working with its medical review agent, Acentra Health, to address service authorization processing delays for some EIDBI services. DHS understands that delays can be stressful for children, families, case managers and providers, particularly when a delay affects access to ongoing services.

DHS actions
DHS continues to work with Acentra Health to reduce processing delays. We are closely monitoring progress toward completing the corrective action plan to bring all EIDBI authorization reviews back within required timelines by Oct. 12, 2026.
