Changes to AASD and DSD eList format

AASD and DSD are making changes to our eList announcements to help simplify our communication and reduce the number of messages subscribers receive from DHS. Starting Tuesday, March 14, 2023, we will send a single, weekly digest of all eList announcements for the week.

Every Tuesday at 9 a.m., eList subscribers will receive a weekly digest about:

· AASD programs and services

· DSD programs and services, including Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI)

· Trainings and upcoming events.

What do eList subscribers need to do?

Current eList subscribers do not need to do anything. They will start to receive the AASD/DSD weekly digest every Tuesday, starting March 14, 2023.

People new to AASD/DSD eLists can subscribe on CBSM – AASD eLists or CBSM – DSD eLists.

Benefits

We are making this change to provide our audience with:

· A consistent day to announce new information

· Fewer emails from AASD and DSD

· A more organized way to receive information.

Additional information

Occasionally, we will need to send eList announcements outside of the weekly digest about timely matters, including:

· Emergencies or disasters

· Critical systems messages

· Critical incidents

· Messages to a very specific audience.

We will include links to relevant, standalone eList announcements in the Tuesday weekly digest to ensure subscribers do not miss any messages.

Your feedback about these changes is important to us. We want to share information in ways that work for you. This summer, we will ask subscribers for their feedback about these changes through an eList survey.
