Disability Services seeks Innovation Grants applications

The Disability Services Division seeks grant proposals to support innovative strategies to improve outcomes for people with disabilities. We will give priority to proposals that serve people eligible for or who receive home and community-based services.

The 2024 Innovation Grants request for proposals includes two programs:

  • · Innovation Small Grant Program (grants up to $60,000 per year)
  • · Innovation Large Grant Program (grants greater than $60,000 per year).

    • Important grant Information

  • · Funding cycle: July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2026
  • · Number of grantees: The state expects to award to up to seven qualified applicants for the Small Grant Program and up to eight qualified applicants for the Large Grant Program.
  • · Small Grant Program application deadline: Feb. 2, 2024
  • · Large Grant Program application deadline: Feb. 29, 2024

    • This RFP seeks proposals that address four primary service areas for people with disabilities:

  • 1. Living in integrated housing of their choice.
  • 2. Working in integrated, competitive employment.
  • 3. Developing spaces that advance and promote community inclusion.
  • 4. Accessing safe, efficient and accessible transportation.
