Purpose: To announce a change to the qualified professional (QP) remote visit policy
Effective: Immediately

Update to PCA remote QP supervision policy for certain populations
DHS updated PCA policy to reflect a recent change in statute about remote QP visits.
The QP may conduct the required supervision remotely for a person with chronic health conditions or a severely compromised immune system when:
The QP must still conduct the initial visit in person or complete the PCA care plan in person.
This change does not affect the policy for remote QP visits for other people using PCA.
