Supervisor responsibilities for disability waiver case manager training

Supervisors must ensure all disability waiver case managers complete the required employment training DHS – Self-paced online course: Getting to Work: A Case Manager’s Guide to Supporting Employment by Aug. 1, 2024.

DHS will monitor total statewide training enrollment and completion. Lead agencies must attest that all disability waiver case managers have completed the training at their next Lead Agency Review.

Enrollment

The training is available during four sessions between now and Aug. 1, 2024. Disability waiver case managers must register for one of the following sessions:

  • · Feb. 19-March 15 registration (Course available Feb. 19-March 29).
  • · March 16-April 26 registration (Course available April 1-May 10).
  • · April 27-June 7 registration (Course available May 13-June 21).
  • · June 8-July 19 registration (Course available June 24-Aug. 2).
  • Once a disability waiver case manager registers for a session, they must complete the course within the six-week “course available” window. They can register for the training by following the instructions on DHS – Self-paced online course: Getting to Work: A Case Manager’s Guide to Supporting Employment.
