AASD and DSD eList announcement

Purpose: To announce changes to AASD and DSD’s use of PolicyQuest
Effective: March 13, 2024

AASD and DSD will no longer accept questions through PolicyQuest

Effective March 13, 2024, lead agencies will no longer be able to submit questions to AASD and DSD through PolicyQuest. They will still be able to search PolicyQuest for aging and disability-related information from past responses, but they will not be able to submit new questions to AASD and DSD.

Other DHS divisions will continue to use PolicyQuest. This change only applies to AASD and DSD.

Note: PolicyQuest will be unavailable from 7 to 9 a.m. on March 13, 2024.

Lead agency actions

Lead agencies should use the following options to contact specific areas of DHS:

· DSD: DSD Contact Form.

· Home and community-based services unit in AASD: dhs.aasd.hcbs@state.mn.us

· Adult protection services: dhs.adultprotection@state.mn.us

· Moving Home Minnesota and relocation service coordination: movinghomemn.mfp@state.mn.us

Lead agencies should continue to:

· Use PolicyQuest to contact other areas of DHS.

· Use PolicyQuest to find aging and disability-related questions and answers that are not case-specific.
Note: DSD may post frequently asked questions and answers to PolicyQuest.

· Follow their internal policies to submit questions to DHS outside of PolicyQuest.

· Connect with their agency leadership if they have questions about the process to submit questions to DHS.

· Refer to the Community-Based Services Manual (CBSM) for updated policy information from AASD and DSD.
