Purpose: To announce a Minnesota Transformation Initiative (MTI) technical assistance opportunity for employment and day service providers

Free MTI technical assistance

DHS encourages HCBS employment and day service providers to apply for MTI’s free technical assistance to support people with disabilities to achieve competitive integrated employment and community life engagement.

Providers can choose from two technical assistance offerings:

  • · Cohort technical assistance: Intensive, comprehensive year-long technical assistance for HCBS employment and/or day providers at any stage of planning or implementing transformation and committed to organizational change.
  • · Targeted technical assistance: Short-term technical assistance focused on a specific topic for any HCBS employment and/or day provider that seeks support to expand capacity for competitive integrated employment and/or community life engagement.

    • The application deadline for cohort technical assistance is Aug. 9, 2024. Targeted technical assistance is available as capacity allows.

    MTI offers free technical assistance (e.g., consulting, training, organizational mentorship, resources) to providers interested in supporting people with disabilities to achieve competitive integrated employment and community life engagement.
