Purpose: To announce registration is open for the annual Minnesota Gathering for Person-Centered Practices event

Register for the annual Minnesota Gathering in November 2024

There are still spots available for the annual Minnesota Gathering for Person-Centered Practices on Tuesday, Nov. 12 and Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, especially in the north region. Register by Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.

The Minnesota Gathering is a great opportunity to meet other person-centered thinkers and learn how they:

  • · Plan, provide and organize services.
  • · Listen to what people want.
  • · Help people live in their communities based on their choices.
  • Event details

    Use the following information to register for the event:

  • · Dates: Tuesday, Nov. 12 (in-person only) and Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024 (online via Zoom)
  • · Location: Two in-person locations on Nov. 12:
    North region: Cloquet Forestry Center, 175 University Road, Cloquet, MN 55720
    South region: South Central College, 1920 Lee Blvd., North Mankato, MN 56003
  • · Cost: $125 registration fee (scholarships available).
  • · Registration: To register, refer to University of Minnesota – Minnesota Gathering. Registration closes Friday, Nov. 8, 2024.
  • · Additional information: In-person registration includes a light breakfast and boxed lunch.
  • The north region keynote presenter is Meredith Kujala. Meredith is a passionate advocate for the disability community. She educates and trains people with disabilities on self-advocacy, leadership and the importance of inclusion.

    The south region keynote presenter is Lori Jasper. Lori has supported people and families for 40 years and has used a variety of planning methods, including person-centered thinking, charting the LifeCourse and trauma-informed supports.
