Purpose: To announce upcoming regional engagement sessions regarding serving children with complex needs

Engagement sessions about serving children with complex needs
DHS and DCYF are hosting regional engagement sessions regarding serving children with complex needs. Case managers or workers should consider attending if they are willing to provide feedback on their experiences serving children with complex needs, including successes and consistent challenges.
Target audience
These engagement sessions are for county, tribal and contracted case managers or workers who serve children with complex needs, including:
Purpose
During these engagement sessions, DHS and DCYF will gather information for possible policy and practice changes to gain traction on serving children with complex needs. Information gathered will inform policy development and recommendations for system improvements.
In each session, DHS and DCYF will:
Session information
DHS and DCYF will host an engagement session for each Minnesota Association of County Social Service Administrators (MACSSA) / regional resource specialist (RRS) region.
If case managers or workers are unable to attend their region’s engagement session, they can register for an adjoining region’s session.
Tribal nation case managers or workers can attend a session for one of the established regions or email csp.complexcare.dcyf@state.mn.us so DHS and DCYF can set up a separate engagement session with the individual tribal nation.
