CFSS implementation updates

DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates early in the transition.

Policy manual

DHS updated CFSS Manual – CFSS personal emergency response systems (PERS) to clarify that minors cannot use CFSS funds to purchase PERS.

Forms and documents

DHS made the following changes to CFSS Individual Service Delivery Plan, DHS-6893P:

· Corrected the current worker training and development budget amount.

· Corrected current payroll tax amounts.

· Added language explaining that the amounts used in the worker budget information are estimates.

· Added a statement to worker budget information section with the current wage floor for budget model workers.

MMIS instructions

DHS explained how to complete the ASA1 screen for a CFSS service agreement (SA) on DSD MMIS Reference Guide – ASA1 screen for PCA/CFSS.

MMIS system updates

DHS corrected an error that prevented some counties/tribal nations from entering a consultation services (T1023) line on the ASA3 screen on an SA that also has CSG (T2025) lines on the ASA3 screen.

DHS continues to test and fix bugs in MMIS. Counties and tribal nations can use Service Agreement and Screening Document (SASD) Support Team Portal, DHS 3754 to report issues to DHS.

Training

DHS added a module with example service agreements to Self-paced online course: CFSS MMIS Training.
