To: County/tribal nation staff who enter waiver and type B personal care assistance (PCA)/Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) service agreements (SAs) in the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)

Purpose: To share instructions for county/tribal nation staff who receive errors with PCA/CFSS SAs in MMIS

Instructions for MMIS errors
DHS identified errors in MMIS that the county/tribal nation may receive when they update SAs with a personal care (T1019) line. The errors prevent the county/tribal nation from navigating away from the ASA3 screen or editing the SA.
Requested total amount field (REQ TOT AMT) error
The county/tribal nation may receive an error when they access the ASA3 screen of an approved SA with a personal care (T1019) line while MMIS is in change mode. The error:

MMIS exception code 323
The county/tribal nation may receive MMIS exception code 323, which prevents them from editing the SA.
