MMIS updates to help counties/tribal nations

DHS updated MMIS to help counties/tribal nations save time when they enter type B SAs.

Ability to edit more type B SAs

DHS updated MMIS to allow counties/tribal nations to edit all type B SAs, including SAs with PCA service lines (i.e., T1019 lines that do not have a UB, U9 or U8 modifier).

We are working to update the following resources to reflect this change:

  • · DSD MMIS Reference Guide.
  • · CFSS Manual.
  • · CFSS MMIS Updates Training (i.e., TrainLink course code CFSS_MMIS).
  • Recently announced MMIS system updates

DHS announced other MMIS system updates in the July 22, 2025, eList announcement. We updated MMIS to allow the counties/tribal nations to:

  • · Use the COPY FROM feature to save time when they enter a type B PCA/CFSS SA. For more information, refer to MMIS Reference Guide Type B SA for PCA/CFSS.
  • · Edit a type B CFSS SA for up to 183 days after the date entered in the start date field on the ASA1 screen.
