HCBS labor market survey instructions

DHS will email HCBS providers who have been selected to take the 2025 HCBS Labor Market Survey on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025. Providers that receive an email invitation from survey.dhs@state.mn.us must use the online form to submit their labor market data, according to Minn. Stat. §256B.4912, subd. 1a.

Background information

Only some provider organizations must submit their workforce data to DHS each year. Providers that do not get an email should not send workforce data to DHS because it is not their year to report. To make sure they do not miss this and other DHS surveys, providers should:

  • · Add survey.dhs@state.mn.us to their trusted email contact list.
  • · Check spam/junk folders for emails from that address.

    • DHS will use the survey data collected in the HCBS Labor Market Legislative Report.
