Purpose: To announce five upcoming CFSS information sessions

CFSS information sessions

DHS plans to cohost CFSS information sessions with Scott County, Ramsey County and Yellow Medicine County. Each county will have an in-person CFSS information session for people who receive services. Scott County also will have two virtual information sessions.

Each session will include:

  • · Basic information about CFSS (e.g., how to choose a CFSS service model, service delivery plans).
  • · Time for participants to ask DHS questions.
  • · Opportunities for participants to connect directly with consultation services providers.
  • Scott County CFSS information sessions

    Use the following information to attend Scott County’s first virtual information session:

  • · Date: Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025
  • · Time: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
  • · Platform: Microsoft Teams webinar.

  • Use the following information to attend Scott County’s second virtual information session:

  • · Date: Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025
  • · Time: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

  • Ramsey County CFSS information session

    Use the following information to attend Ramsey County’s in-person information session:

  • · Date: Monday, Sept. 29, 2025
  • · Time: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • · Location: Plato Building (first floor auditorium), 90 Plato Blvd. W., St. Paul, MN 55107.
  • · Registration: To register, refer to Microsoft Office registration form – Ramsey County CFSS info session.
  • Yellow Medicine County CFSS information session

    Use the following information to attend Yellow Medicine County’s in-person information session:

  • · Date: Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025
  • · Time: 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  • · Location: Yellow Medicine County Family Services Center (basement county training room), 415 Ninth Ave., Granite Falls, MN 56241.
  • · Registration: To register, refer to Microsoft Office registration form – Yellow Medicine County CFSS info session.
  • Target audience

    DHS developed these information sessions for people who receive services and want to learn more about CFSS, including:

  • · People who receive PCA or CSG services and will transition to CFSS.
  • · People newly assessed as eligible for CFSS.
  • · People who might receive CFSS services in the future.
  • Note: Lead agencies and providers are not the target audience for these information sessions. For more information and CFSS resources, lead agencies and providers should refer to CFSS Policy Manual and CFSS Policy Manual – Transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS.
