CFSS implementation updates
DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates throughout the transition.

MMIS instructions
DHS updated DSD MMIS Reference Guide – ASA3 screen for worker supervision/training (PCA: T1019 – UA; CFSS: S5116) to clarify that the lead agency always authorizes a full worker training and development budget to both CFSS provider agencies when they authorize services to multiple CFSS provider agencies.
MMIS system updates
DHS updated MMIS on June 30, 2026, to post exception code 402 when the county/Tribal Nation tries to enter a service agreement (SA) with PCA services for a person who did not have PCA services within the past 60 days. The county/Tribal Nation cannot force the exception code. DHS will return requests to force the exception code to the county/Tribal Nation.
DHS updated MMIS on July 28, 2026, to post exception code 381 if the county/Tribal Nation:
DHS continues to test and fix bugs in MMIS. Counties/Tribal Nations can use Service Agreement and Screening Document (SASD) Support Team Portal, DHS 3754 to report issues to DHS.
