MEC2 generates a provider notice identifying the family’s redetermination due date. The notice has the date the family’s redetermination is due and the date the case will close if the redetermination is not received. It is mailed to all providers with an active Service Authorization for a child in the family. This notice is mailed at the same time the redetermination cover letter and forms are mailed to the family. Agencies cannot tell providers if the redetermination has been received or if there is any verification missing for the family. This information can only be shared if the family has signed an information release form.
